The Brocade G610 is an enterprise-class entry-level 32Gbps Fibre Channel (FC) SAN switch developed by Broadcom. Designed for small and medium-sized data centers, virtualized environments, and all-flash storage deployments, this compact 1U rack-mount solution delivers enterprise-level reliability and performance.

Utilizing Gen 6 FC technology, the switch features 24 32Gbps SFP+ ports with on-demand activation (8/16/24 ports) and backward compatibility with 16G/8G FC devices. With a non-blocking switching bandwidth of 1.536 Tbps and line-rate forwarding with low latency, it meets the high IOPS demands of core databases and virtualized servers. Native support for NVMe over FC enables seamless integration with new-generation NVMe all-flash storage arrays to fully unlock storage performance.

The switch integrates the Brocade Fabric Vision intelligent operations suite, including IO Insight and VM Insight, for real-time monitoring of storage traffic and virtual machine health to quickly locate performance bottlenecks. It also supports enterprise-class features such as ISL trunking, Virtual Fabrics, and In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) to ensure business continuity. Available with single or dual redundant power supplies and an efficient cooling system, it ensures stable long-term operation.
